Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through Write2SQL, including subscription plans, credit purchases, and any other paid features. By making a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this policy. This policy is strict and applies without exception unless otherwise stated below.

1. General Policy — No Refunds

All sales are final. Subscription fees, credit purchases, and any other payments made to Write2SQL are non-refundable. This applies regardless of whether you have used the Service, consumed your credits, or accessed all features available under your plan. By completing a purchase, you expressly waive any right to a refund except as explicitly provided in Sections 2 and 3 below.

2. Limited Exceptions

Refunds may be considered solely at our discretion in the following narrow circumstances:

• Duplicate Payment: If you were charged more than once for the same subscription period due to a verified technical error on our side, we will refund the duplicate charge.
• Service Unavailability: If the Service was completely unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours during your paid subscription period due to an outage caused solely by us (not third-party infrastructure, your network, or force majeure), you may request a prorated credit for the affected period. This credit will be applied to your next billing cycle and is not redeemable as a cash refund.
• Billing Error: If we charged an incorrect amount due to a verified error in our billing system, we will refund the difference between what was charged and what should have been charged.

3. What Is Not Refundable

The following are explicitly non-refundable under any circumstances:

• Credits that have been consumed (used to generate or execute queries)
• Unused credits remaining at the end of a billing period
• Subscription fees for partially used billing periods
• Downgrade differences (switching from a higher to a lower plan does not generate a refund for the current period)
• Charges incurred due to unauthorized use of your account if you failed to secure your credentials
• Charges incurred through API usage, whether automated or manual
• Fees for periods during which your account was suspended due to Terms of Service violations
• Any purchase where you had access to and used the Service, regardless of satisfaction

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to your paid plan features until the end of the period you have already paid for. No prorated refunds will be issued for the remaining days in your current billing period. After cancellation, your account will revert to the free plan.

5. Plan Upgrades and Downgrades

When upgrading, you will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing period at the new plan rate, minus credit for the unused portion of your current plan. This proration charge is non-refundable. When downgrading, the new plan takes effect at the start of your next billing period. No refund or credit is issued for the price difference during the current period.

6. Free Trial and Free Plan

The free plan does not involve any payment and therefore is not subject to this Refund Policy. If a free trial is offered for paid plans, you will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your selected payment method will be charged automatically, and the standard no-refund policy applies from the first charge.

7. Requesting a Refund

If you believe you qualify for a refund under the limited exceptions in Section 2, submit a request through your account settings with the following information:

• Your account email address
• Transaction ID
• Date of the payment
• Detailed description of the issue

We will review your request and respond within 10 business days. Our decision on refund requests is final and not subject to appeal.

8. Chargebacks and Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us, we reserve the right to immediately suspend your account and pursue recovery of the disputed amount plus any fees incurred. We encourage you to contact us directly to resolve any billing concerns before initiating a dispute.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that transaction.
